WCVB: Basketball team plays in slain teacher’s memory
LOWELL, Mass. —The Danvers High School boys’ basketball team came up short in the Division 2 North title game against New Mission Saturday, but the Falcons were playing for more than just a tournament win.
The team had hoped to get a win for beloved math teacher Colleen Ritzer, whose slaying in October shocked the community.
