Welcome from the Ritzer Family
This website was created to provide an official source of information about our daughter and sister, Colleen E. Ritzer, specifically her tremendous impact on family, friends and students. Colleen began teaching at Hale Middle School in Stow, then accepted a position at Danvers High School in September of 2012. Through her passion for teaching and making a real difference in her students’ lives, Colleen quickly earned a reputation as a dedicated and popular teacher.
It is our hope that one of Colleen’s many legacies will be to inspire future generations of teachers who will care as much for their profession and students as did Colleen.
We cannot express in words our gratitude for the outpouring of support we have received from the communities of Andover, Danvers and from throughout the country. The love and support of many wonderful people have been a comfort during this difficult time. The many events hosted in Colleen’s honor are very much appreciated and remind us all of the special gift that is Colleen Ritzer.
