Student-Athletes Support Ritzer Walk
Worcester, Mass. (May 1) — Last weekend, a number of the Assumption College athletic teams took part in the Colleen Ritzer Remembrance Walk, which was held on campus to raise money for the Colleen Ritzer Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Members of the football, women’s lacrosse, women’s swimming and diving, volleyball and women’s basketball teams, as well as some alumni who knew Colleen, took part in the walk and the tree dedication ceremony. The tree ceremony took place outside of Kennedy Memorial Hall on Sunday morning, while the day began with Mass at the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, followed by the walk and dedication.
