Boston Globe: Family of…teacher announces scholarship winners
The family of Colleen E. Ritzer, the Danvers High School math teacher slain in October, announced the first recipients of a scholarship in her memory on Friday.
Six students were awarded the scholarship, which varied in value from $1,500 to $2,500 each , on Wednesday night at the Danvers High senior reception. Additional recipients from Andover High School, where Ritzer lived, will be announced on Monday, the family said in a statement.
